To use taxi ranks on public roads or in a publicly accessible (i.e. without barriers) private car park in a municipality, you must submit an application to the municipality. You make an application per municipality where you want to use a taxi rank and per vehicle for which you want authorisation.

Conditions
To obtain an authorisation for stand taxi, you must have a permit for individual remunerated passenger transport (new permit since 1 January 2020). The authorisation will only be issued if the applicant either already holds an individual paid passenger transport permit or applies for that permit together with the authorisation application.
The driver, who holds an authorisation stand taxi, is obliged to use a fare card and a taxi light as soon as he enters the stands.
Those with an authorisation are no longer obliged to respect the perimeter of 200 metres walking distance around stands in the municipality to which the authorisation applies. After all, those stands are reserved for stand taxis with an authorisation from the municipality concerned.
The stand taxi authorisation is personal and non-transferable. It applies to the use of all taxi stands in the municipality.

Extract from the criminal record in accordance with Article 596.1-27 for each manager or director in charge of daily management. This certificate may not be older than three months at the time of submission

Attestation of knowledge of Dutch at level B1 for each manager or director responsible for day-to-day management

Attestation proving that the operator is in order with regard to social contributions (social security fund for the self-employed or NSSO)

Certificate proving that the operator is compliant with tax charges (FPS Finance certificate)

Supporting documents proving that the operator can dispose of the vehicles (order form, purchase invoice, lease agreement, etc.)

Copy of insurance certificate (green card), insurance policy, inspection certificate, certificate of conformity, registration certificate (registration certificate).
You can submit your application, addressed to the municipality for the attention of the municipal executive, by

You must collect the authorisation for a pitch taxi no later than three months after it has been granted.
The authorisation is valid for a maximum of five years.

Cost
The application is free of charge. The cost of taking up the pitch is stipulated in the municipal tax or fee regulations (if applicable).
