Parkeren in de blauwe zone
Within a certain timespan, free parking is permitted in “blue zones” subject to the use of a parking disc. Blue zones are always indicated by a combination of the usual parking signage and a parking disc symbol.
Parking for people with a disability
In Bredene, holders of a disabled parking badge are exempt from paid parking and displaying a parking disc (both in blue zones and in pay-and-display car parks). The disabled badge must be displayed in a clearly visible location on the inside of the windscreen.
Parking permit
People who frequently park their car in a pay-and-display zone can request a parking permit. With a parking permit, you can park validly in all areas controlled by parking machines. Parking permits are fully digital, and paper permits are no longer issued.
Pay using your mobile phone/text message
Bredene uses the 4411 system to offer the option to pay by mobile phone or text message. This means you can pay by sending a text message or via the 4411 app.
Pay-and-display parking
Pay-and-display parking is in force all year round, including on Sundays and public holidays. Between 10:00 and 19:00 Monday to Sunday, you must buy a ticket from one of the parking machines.
