Bredene has no less than four kilometres of uninterrupted sandy beaches and dunes. The areas in the dunes that are accessible to the public have become much-loved hangouts for sunbathers.Dogs on the Beach
The general rule is that dogs are allowed on the beach and in the dunes. However, from June 15 to September 15, dogs are not allowed on the beach or in the dunes (with the exception of the paved paths), from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. each day.
Emergency Services
During the summer months, lifeguards are stationed along the water’s edge from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Swimming is permitted only in the areas where lifeguards are present.
Nude Beach
Naturists have discovered a spot here just for themselves. Its location at the foot of a protected dune reserve ensures a bit of privacy. The nude area does not interfere with those who wish to stroll along the water’s edge while fully clothed.
Twins Club surf zone
Twins Club is the ultimate place to be for water rats and those who live life to the full. You can (learn to) surf, sail and paddle board all year round here.
